Physical Health

When it comes to our bodies, we love them, loathe them, and all too often overlook just how incredible they are.

It’s easy to take them for granted and be hyper-critical, especially when comparing ourselves to others or our younger selves. But it’s worth remembering that we get out what we put in, and the ownership for making positive change is ultimately our responsibility.

However, this doesn’t change the fact that change is scary.

It seems that the world of health and fitness is either full of fads or superwomen who seem too good to be true, making it hard to know what information to trust, where to start or what will work for our bodies.

I hear you – those were my thoughts too. After trying several fads myself and studying the so-called superwomen’s secrets, I realised I needed to take things back to basics and be consistent to see real results. That was their superpower; knowledge and dedication with bucket loads of self-belief and a clear vision for success.

So I started educating myself and quickly devised a programme that combined exercise, nutrition, mindfulness and self-development work.

The result? I was stronger, happier and more confident than I’d ever been. Not only did I look my best, but I felt it too; I carried myself differently, I chased more opportunities in my career, I felt worthy.

I am now a qualified fitness instructor, mid-way through my certification to become a personal trainer and nutritional advisor. My vision has evolved from my own journey to helping friends and now a much wider community, giving you the tools you need to love yourself inside and out so you can seize opportunities and start living your dream life.
